Wedding Photography | John & Joanne, Cornhill House, Biggar

Arriving at Biggar Kirk early on the wedding day of John & Joanne, I was quite taken aback to see a sizeable crowd of well-wishers gathered on the street and church grounds. It was a sparkling day to be out and about, but there was no doubt everyone was here to see the bride’s arrival. I think Joanne is too humble a person to have told me she was local celebrity in this part of Lanarkshire!

After the ceremony under the impressive stone and stained glass of the 16th-century kirk, John & Joanne travelled the few miles to Cornhill House in classic style. Nestled in peaceful countryside, Cornhill makes an elegant backdrop for a celebration with family and friends.

Celebrating is what it is all about , so I strive to allow time for this. Moving through formal group shots swiftly and efficiently, I capture naturally-styled portraits in good time for you to return to your guests and leave me to catch moments from the rest of the day candidly.

Congratulations to you John & Joanne, I hope your album will bring warmth as the nights draw in!
